The Sony Ericsson K310i is an entry-level camera phone that replaces the very popular K300i. For the money, you'll find it hard to get a better phone than this!

To summarise, for around £50, you get a camera, a video camera, MP3 player, MP3 ringtones, 3D Java games, a built-in speakerphone, a good battery and all this in a lightweight compact package. OK, it's not the best camera, there's no flash, no Bluetooth, and you only have enough memory to store a few tracks, but if you want more you're going to have to reach for your wallet. The nearest competitor is the Motorola L6 which also has a Bluetooth connection and is slimmer, but has less memory and costs a little more. The one thing we don't like about the design of the K310i is the joystick - come on Sony Ericsson, stop putting joysticks on your phones!

maann dis fone has wack memory and once the sticky thing on the back on da fone is out there is no more signal

I tHink its a good looking phone.It has a large screen display.and has a good shape.It has 3d functions.15 mb memory is vary much ok than hte moto L6.we can change its anytime.It has a loud speaker phone.And we can apply data cable usb.It has a fast net browser.

I've only had this phone for a couple of days and i'm really pleased with it! It's very reliable and does not seem to get damaged and I always have full signal. The camera quality is good and the text messaging is easy to do. But just to say, if you do get it, make sure you have your ring tone on the loudest volume or you can't hear it very well if its in a handbag or something. Overall this phone is awesome!!!!!!

Hi- I dropped my K310i, and although it wasn''t damaged, the incident mysteriously caused a film of dust to appear on the inside of the screen (which must have built up in the phone and been dislodged on impact). The dust particles make the screen difficult to read at times, but unlike Nokias etc. it seems it is not possible to clean under the screen. Has anyone got a solution? Thanks.

Well, i have to say this phone is rather bad when it comes to takeing good photos and video recordings..... maybe because it has a vga camra which is like the first camra out on mobile phones which makes it ancient and poor quality... also the memory on it is useless and it hasn't got bluetooth, so i would say get a better phone that dosen't have a vga camra because it will take bad pictures!

hi...i have a sony ericcson k310i ...its a nice mobile.best thing is that it has a 3gp videos .you can download any 3gp videos.the bad thing is that this phone has not too much memory.if u like to listen many songs from ur mobile then u do take this mobile.thnkx

I've just bought a K310i. The battery range is probably the best you can get in a 70¤ phone with so many features. Seemed to me like a nice buy. I also noticed that the joystick is not very user-friendly. I had a Samsung X640, but I dived with the phone in my pocket, 4 months after crashing a Nokia 1100. Lets see if this one will survive longer that those... LOL

I've had this phone for a few days and found it more practical than pleasure. After being used to the simple Samsung, I find the joystick thing awkward as it seems to just do what it wants (maybe this is me being a novice). It does what you expect a phone to do, but as far as the camera and mp3 player go-DON'T buy the phone for these. They both fall short. I can store about three tracks on the mp3 player and the camera quality is poor. HOWEVER I paid just £50 for this phone, and it has already been money well spent, so if you're looking for cheap and reliable with a few extras then this is the phone for you.

the quaility of sony products have now declined and it is one of the perfect example for that no much authorised service centres and that to very far away a service has become a nighmare. it has all sorts of problems. software problem, joystick problem etc. The company has earned the enmity of all people. if it cannot correct all this the company could not suceed.

We like the Motorola L6 too, but it doesn't have an MP3 player, whereas the K310i does.

HI all this phone is nice but the joystick needs improvements ....it gets warped in a week or so.... i think joystick is a weak point in all SONY ERICSSON phones..... >>>>i m very disappointed with sony...i will never buy a sony phone again only cuz of joystick(otherwise its fyn)u can get a moto SLVR for almost the same price which is b8r than dis phone

Waz gifted diz 4n from my Bro. had an T630 earlier. Have 2 say diz 4n rokz. cool features like a gud camera & UI.U have 2 transfer da 4tos 2 da PC 2 c da quality f dem. Fun gamez 2. Id reccommend it 2 ny1. memory s adequet 2 mst guys.

This telephone is perfect.It has everything you need.E-mail,MP3 sounds,3D games,VGA camera,Infra Red Port.It is one of the best telephones I have ever seen and it is very cheap.

k310i is a gud looking phone,its amount is very low but features are gud.The main disadvantage is very low memory.It contains only 3 mp3 songs.

its a ok phone but after 3 mounths of use camera doesnt work properley and infra red doesnt at all same with vibrator, very small 12mb memory (if u do a master reset and delete all stock pictures u get 16 mb), does play mp3s but only holds 1-3 songs.When i had camera working it wasnt great even on best quality. needs blue tooth.Case slides off when in pocket, joy stick herts your hands. speaker is ok but theres no bass just the very highs, screen is a good size better than some, if your going to buy this get a better model insted. if anyone might no whats wrong with my infrared please post a coment

This is a fantastic phone it is aalable from less than £60 so dont pay more its more memory than any phone in its calss and even tho it doesent hav very high spec features its has almost all of them exept bluetooth for the price you cant find better the onli phone wich is worth considering is the l3 £35 from orange its has bluetooth but it has less memory a poor screen and no mp3 or player

Hi this fone is really amazing and worth the money.. u can nt find a better match for the features it has at this cost. Though u can store only upto a few tracks the speaker clarity is too good. A typical product of SONY.. i recommend buying this..

I bought this on 3rd november, the astonishing features enabled in this phone makes the user excited and its more user friendly features like one touch video capture and shortcuts, which can be edited or altered. The phone is fantastic, although the obvious downfall is bluetooth.Still this is the best phone 4 cheap price.Camera is ezy to use, the memory is "just fine", i marked it THE BEST. :)

I would like to thank the one manning this website for publishing my review nov. 3 2006.Now i know that reviews are made by real people from different countries. regarding my problem about transferring mp3 songs to the cellphone, it was already solved. First step is to buy a DCU 60 -USB cable ( Sony ). Then after installing the software to the computer, choose MP3 songs from I - tunes ( i think its from Apple? ) MP3 songs from I- tunes are smaller so you can install many many songs. Considering that this phone costs only P5,800 in the Philippines,i would say this is really a bargain.sound quality is great. Likewise,i can watch may cellphone videos in the computer using the USB cable. Great!

it's a very nice phone, the only few problems are: - very little memory - camera is not the greatest - restarts a lot i use an usb-cable, and headphones i got from a k750i. it has the nice feature of mp3 playing, and the player itself has a sort of library to sort the music, only it has so less memory that it can only store about 5 songs, so why do i want to organize it?

Guys! I bought a Sony Ericsson K3101 two weeks ago, and so far its very funcational. I also bought a DCU- 60 USB cable ( Sony Ericsson ), hoping to transfer mp3 files. I was amazed by the speed by which the transfer of mp3 was made.after installing the software. However, would you believe that only two songs were transferred. Imagine that one song will occupy 6mb of cellphone memory! Can anyone tell me how to trasfer more songs to the cellphone? I heard that a converter is needed. Please help. Salamat.

I bought this phone as I was at a Festival and smashed my contract one up, I bought it cos it was cheap and I like sony ericssons. Im using it until i get an upgrade but i've got to say that its a great little phone - i couldnt have it for mine for too long though as i really miss having a good camera. The camera is ok on this, its a perfect phone for people who just want a proper phone - but it also has these other features if you want - Super cheap as well. Another gem from Sony Ericsson, i'm just debating whether to buy the K800i or the W850i??????????? HELP!

Befor buying K310i i was using nokia 6230 usually lot of problems with that phone but now i am using k310i it was the best Phone only thing is that it dosnt have extendeble memory, but still it is best for me.

a cheap and great phone.Can wath all sorts of videos on the internet, also can send them in and can store it and watch over and over again. Sometimes when I look at it after I have charge it it strugles a bit but I still like it. I think its cool as ingreat...

You can't get a better phone/features for the price (I got mine on eBay - it was an unwanted gift). If you want a good camera, get a proper digital camera. If you want an MP3 player, get an iPod or something similar. The screen is large and bright, e.g. even used it as flashlight after the initial charge. While not quantum leap from the T230 I lost, it is a remarkable improvement. For the people complaining about the screen, change the brightness ! However, prepare to charge more often. Obviously, the more features you use, the more power it consume. If you want more, then prepare to spend more, i.e. K510i, K610i and K710i.

Average phone. Screen hard to read in daylight. Switches itself off every now and then - what a nuisance. Software errors in phone - selected rings do not work when actual call /message is received Too slippery and alphabet letters difficult to read in non daylight. Phone also switches off when battery reaches 25% charge. Overall disapointed.

This phone is so awesome! There is so much to do like games, voice record, internet, etc. However, i think the camera is one of the best features because it is fun and really easy to use! I would definitaly recommend this to someone who wants a fairly cheap phone with great features!

excellent! the only draw back is it dosent have bluetooth ,but it is having infrared for connectivity with 15mb of memory which is higher compared to k300i ,we cant expect anything more for something around Rs.5500/- i fell it is the best cam phone available in the market in its range ,it also includes mp3 playable ringtones and what else you will see it more impressive as you use it.

Ok, so it doesn't have bluetooth... But it does have infrared so that's good enough for me!! I've had so many expensive and i just dont use most of the features in them. I just had to take my Nokia 6280 back to the shop it came from because it was randomly restarting itself (common fault with this model, a google search will prove that and also the reviews for that phone on this very site will too). Anyway... back to this phone. I got it as i wanted a cheap replacement for the 6280 and as i said i wont use the full features of an expensive phone. This phone has 15mb memory, mp3 ringtone & playback capability (so i can still enjoy clips of my favourite song as my ringtone!) a vga camera (which i may use for messin about as that's what cams on phones are for!) and i do have a proper cam for proper pics so basically this phone is nice and basic for people like me. I will recommend this phone to anyone who doesnt want an expensive phone, on a tight budget or a first time buyer. I m givin this phone top marks! :D

This is the best phone I have ever brought. I have had mine for only 3 days and i have had hours of fun with it and cant put it down. It helps having a pc as i have added lots more to the phone than what it came with but it is definitely great value for money. I cant believe such a great phone is so cheap to buy.

Although I usually use a more advanced and expensive handset, circumstances leaved me needing to get hold of a cheap handset to use temporarily. I picked up a k310i for £50, and am most impressed. Although this is clearly a budget phone from Sony Ericsson, one can tell that they have strived to ensure that this phone is very user friendly and efficient, incorporating all that they have learnt from their recent expensive handsets (less the refined touches such as a good camera or bluetooth). As a spare or temporary handset, or for those on a budget, or for someone who wants a very simple but effective phone, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

dis is the phone that cud be bought at Rs.5599. the only drawback of the foen is that it dusent have blue tooth, or atleast an IR connectivity device coud have been given. Also a black color piece wud have earned a better craze in teh market

the k310i is a excellent phone and i would reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a cheap phone that does just about everything, the only downfall is that it has no bluetooth! and the picture qaulity is a bit dissapointing for the model but thnx alot sony!

K310i is better then the K300i and its cost is very low and affordable for all peoples who love mobiles its voice is trimindus and lovely sound effect to the other mobile companies thanks sony ericsson majidhussainshah@gmail.com
