Samsung UE55MU7070 review
Review: July 2017 | ||
![]() Rating: In a nutshell: The Samsung UE55MU7070 is a variation on the MU7000, with a grey stand instead of a silver one, and a couple of other minor tweaks. Picture quality is a step up from Samsung's mid-range models, with excellent brightness, contrast and shadow detail. The audio system is also better than what you'll find in Samsung's Series 6 models. |
Samsung MU7070 review
The Samsung 55MU7070 is identical to the Samsung 55MU7000, except that it has a Titan grey stand instead of silver, comes with a different remote control, and has a slightly modified backlighting system that supposedly gives it an edge. Read our Samsung MU7000 review to find out more. There are some good deals on the 7070, so it's worth shopping around.
Samsung's Series 7 TVs cost quite a bit more than the popular Samsung MU6400, but their picture quality is noticeably superior, and the 40W sound system is a lot fuller and more rounded too.

Digital recording on an MU-7070. Twin LNB inputs, yet when recording,
another channel can't be watched. I assume the MU-7070 has twin
tuners?

I got this 55mu7070 7 series and 1st week screen smashed only by
throwing a toy to it by my child.
Sent it for repairs, when
collected tv at home after plugged cable and switched tv I found
screen cracked at bottom, sent it 2nd time for repairs, it took
another 3 weeks to get it back.
2 months later same thing happen
a toy ended on the screen and it's cracked gain, today 25th January am
taking it for repairs, once I collect it I put it for sale.... not
good at all... very fragile.. not like the 8 series I have for 5 years
and nothing like that happened even with toys throwing on screen ...
not recommended.

It must be a very tough toy. It’s screen is as same as any other
television. I think you got just unlucky on this TV.

Why throw toys on TV ? Toys r 2 play. You jump in water and blame
water for getting wet. Very sorry 4 u. Please take care of your TV.
Dont blame TV if you like throwing toys on it. Take care.
Cheers.
