One sim only and are memory card.

Well I like this phone but I want to know whether this phone has got WhatsApp because I am using this App a lot. Calling abroad and chatting.

You would download WhatsApp from the Google Playstore as you would for most phones!

Does the j3 have a light at the front of it to indicate that you have a message?

No indication light for incoming messages.

After composing your message, tap the smiley key on the right of the 'sym' key- that will bring up a pageful of emoji's.

Karen- that's the same key for the smileys- tap that & it takes you to the smileys/emoji's.

Samsung j3 following instructions can't get message notification sound?

I found it easy enough to set up- go to ringtones & sounds, then messages notifications, then set the sound you want. Just tried it by txting my spare phone, & it does work.
