Mobile phone of the year 2012
Thanks to everyone who voted in our 2012 Phone of the Year award. We're pleased to announce that the winner is the Samsung Galaxy S3, with a massive 41% of the total votes.
In second place was the HTC One X with 15%, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 came in third with 12% of the votes. The poor old iPhone 5 didn't even make it into the top 3.
It's clear from these results that Samsung are way out in front of the competition and that Android is the dominant operating system for 2012, at least among S21 users.

Surely the Nexus4 must be a contender, but due to a release only a couple of weeks ago, is not on this list?

Sad but true. All the other phone manufacturers understood the importance of releasing their phones in good time for the Christmas shopping season.
