Panasonic TX-L32EM6B review

 Review: November 2013

Rating: 3 stars

In a nutshell: The Panasonic TX-L32EM6B is a budget TV with decent picture quality and smart looks.

Review

The Panasonic TX-L32EM6B sits midway between the excellent Panasonic TX-L32E6B and the poorly-rated L32XM6B. We rated the E6B at 4 stars and the XM6B at 2 stars, so it's no surprise that we rate the EM6B at 3 stars.

It's a nice enough TV with a glossy black finish, but not as slim or stylish as the E6B. Picture quality is similar to the excellent E6B, but audio quality is below expectations - the same as the XM6B.

The XM6B lacks Smart TV but is priced accordingly. However, the lack of connectivity options, especially the fact that it has just 2 HDMI ports, counts against it.

If you don't want to pay for Smart TV, then this isn't a bad choice. You might also consider the Samsung UE32F5000.

Great TV - Great picture quality, sound adjustment effective and easy to use.

I bought this TV 3 weeks ago and I am very pleased with it for what it cost. Sound is a bit poor (as is the case with most of these type of TV's) but follow the instructions and set get it set to your individual preferences and both sound and picture can only be faulted by a much more expensive model.

Just read Tommy Trans review and can't stop laughing, Tommy does the radio still work? If so then not all is lost!

Is this an LCD TV or a LED? I bought one as the sellers spec stated that it is an edge lit LED but both the spec sticker on the back of the set and the hard copy users guide states it is an LCD model! I have requested clarification from Panasonic.

It came without any assembly screws so therefore I had to use any that fit the screw hole, it is longer than it is supposed to be and damaged the screen so now the screen goes black and nothing comes up. I took it to the nearest Currys and found out today that the warranty is invalid because of the screws that I used to replace the non-existent screws that came with the TV.
