Panasonic TX-50CX802B review
|Review: September 2015|
In a nutshell: The Panasonic TX-50CX802B is one of the truly outstanding TVs of 2015. With stunning design and equally stunning UHD picture quality, plus superb Smart TV and a superior audio system, it's one of the best TVs of the year, and worth its high price.
This is the 50-inch version of the Panasonic TX-55CX802B we reviewed earlier, so read our detailed review of the 55-inch CX802B for full details.
The 50-inch model is a more manageable and affordable version. It's still a very expensive TV, but it's probably also the best we've reviewed in 2015. If you're not smitten by its superslim design and understated arc stand, absolutely outstanding UHD screen, superb Smart TV and superior audio quality, then perhaps the promise of an upgrade to HDR later this year will lure you to part with your money. One thing's for sure - this is the complete package and we recommend it without reservation.

Would a soundbar encroach on the panel if sat in front of it?

As the sleek but LOW "stand", seems to sit quite low to the ground/ cabinet, can you advise if a soundbar would affect the view of the lcd screen? Is there a particular soundbar that would fit better? I know Pana do that "wedge", shaped soundbar which may fit withough obstruction?

I purchased this after being advised that it had Skype capability. I haven't got what I wanted and I don't find navigating for options and features that straight forward. Overall disappointed.

Why put a 1 star review because somebody got information wrong? Get a camera plugged in first, then review the TV.
