Nokia 106 review
|Review: December 2014|
In a nutshell: The Nokia 106 is ideal if you're looking for a cheap, basic phone. It's lightweight and tough and has all the basics covered.
Best buy: Nokia 106 from Gameseek (£17.64)
The Nokia 106 is an update of the popular Nokia 105 and is a great choice for anyone looking for a basic phone to make calls. It's tough, with a dust and splash-proof keypad. It's a bit chunky, but still small enough to slot in a pocket, and it weighs hardly anything. The screen is larger than many similar phones, and the battery life is pretty good. There's even an FM radio built in.
It doesn't do a lot more, but what else could you want for hardly any money?

Ok for a basic phone but disappointed that there does not appear to be any visual alert for missed calls or SMS other than turning the phone on.

Worst phone ever!! Getting a smartphone is way better! It was so embarrassing walking around with that chunky piece of trash. Don't waste your money, get a smartphone e.g the huawei ascend y330 , really good cheap smartphone.

cheap to buy, battery life a bit short before recharging, letters and numbers a bit small, good value easy to use.
