Nokia 100 review
|Review: October 2013|
In a nutshell: If you want to call and text and nothing else, this is really as cheap as it gets!
They really don't come any more basic than this. With no camera and no features other than calling, texting and a radio, the Nokia 100 is the kind of phone that Nokia made 15 years ago. It's cheap though, incredibly cheap.
Chunky but lightweight, this is a practical phone that you could take to a building site or a festival and not care if it fell in the mud. It won't do much though, other than call and text. Even the battery life is rubbish! The Nokia C1-01 adds a camera and a better battery.
Nokia 100 features include:
- Display: TFT, 65,000 colours, 128 x 160 pixels (1.8 inches)

- Messaging: SMS
- Connectivity: USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack
- Memory: 8MB
- Offline mode
- Dual-band GSM 900 MHz, 1800 MHz
- Size: 110 x 45.5 x 15 mm
- Weight: 70g
- Battery: 800 mAh

Why the heck does this review give it two stars? A review is supposed to rate a phone on what it does do, not what it doesn't do. The phones battery is outstanding and signal is better than any smartphone. That is still what a phone is supposed to do right? Call people?

Good phone, isn't it? I kept my 5S though, useful for when you're stuck waiting for something.
