Motorola V635 Review
Phone rating:
Review: March 2005.
The new V635 is an enhancement of the Motorola
V620. The V635 reverts to a silver and black case instead of the
all-black case of the V620, but apart from that they are physically
very similar, being the same size and weight. It's quite a heavy phone
as clamshells go, but it's one of the best specified camera phones available.
The key addition is the new 1.2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom,
camera light and camcorder capability. This is a big step up from the
0.3 megapixel (VGA) camera on the V620. The internal display is the
same as the V620 - it's a top-rate TFT display with 262k colours and
a large 176x220 pixel resolution. Both the internal display and the
camera are as good as anything you'll find on a mobile today. The external
display isn't quite of the same quality - it's a CSTN display which
can be difficult to read in bright sunlight, and has just 4k colours,
but this is not unreasonable for a secondary display.
The next most welcome feature is the addition of a TransFlash
memory card in addition to the 5 Mbytes of internal memory. This really
lets you make good use of the multimedia capabilities of the phone,
especially the video recorder and MP3 player.
The V635 also upgrades the GPRS connection to a high-speed EDGE connection,
which is ideal for downloading video and audio content.
Overall it's hard to fault the V635. It's a phone that delivers on
every count, the only shortcomings being it's high weight and cost.
Features of the Motorola V635 include:
- 1.2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom & light
- Video capture and playback
- Internal display: 262,000 Colour TFT (176 x 220 pixels)
- External display:4,000 colours CSTN (96 x 80)
- MP3 player
- Polyphonic ringtones & MP3 ringtones
- MotoMixer (Remixable MIDI ringer software)
- Downloadable Themes (Ringtones, Wallpaper & Screensavers)
- Java games: Embedded & downloadable
- SMS, EMS & MMS (Picture / photo + text
+ sound), email, instant messaging
- iTap predictive text
- Connectivity: Bluetooth®, USB
- Memory: 5 Mbytes plus TransFlash memory card
- Voice features: Voice-activated dialling
- In-built Hands-free Speakerphone
- WAP 2.0, GPRS class 10, EDGE

have now a problem transfering sounds from memory card to phone. There
is plenty of memory on the phone to take the sounds. So now I am stuck
with the same ringtones at the moment. Transferring pics from card to

Kinda big for a clamshell but I think it's fine. Just the right size
for ease of use and prettiness. The battery is fine if you know how
to get the best from it (let it run out completely the first few times),
and the camera is good. my only gripes are that it's pretty hard to
personalise as the menus are tricky to navigate. Also, the video doesn't
record for very long- About two minutes on lowest resolution and only
ten seconds on highest. Great phone over all.

Not a bad phone but not the best ive ever had, great camera and ring
tones(all the important things we look for in a phone). Problems are,
i cant really hear anyone when they call, the txt format takes some
getting used too and the silly keys along the side mean that i can't
put the phone in my pocket as im forever taking pictures of the inside
of my pocket. On the whole its ok, but i wouldn't go out of my way to
purchase another one, i still prefer my old Samsung E700.

What ever you do don't get this phone. Compared with Nokia's everything
is difficult to find and do. The phone book has separate entries for
each number rather than associating them with one person. The WAP service
doesn't seem to work and even if you do manage to get it to work you
cannot bookmark web sites. The battery doesn't last long. The camera
was poor quality when it worked and after a few days develop a red line
down the picture.

This is the first Clamshell i have owned and was not sure, but first
impressions are favourable. The phone is easy to use, the MP3 player
is quality, but slow to load. The only thing that is really bugging
me is trying to connect the phone to the bluetooth headset, which came
with the package. I cannot get the two to talk, but apart from that
the phone seems good.

All in all this is a great little phone. When opened the earpiece actually
goes to your ear and the microphone actually sits near your mouth. It's
easy to use and you can personalise the shortcuts and side buttons,
which is handy. My only fault with the phone is that is freezes on accasions
when recieving the odd picture via bluetooth. A great thing is that
with transflash cards you can expand the memory upto 256mb. The 256mb
card can be bought for less than £25 inc. delivery online. Great
phone!

Futher to my review a couple of entries down, since writing that I have
found that the battery is actually quite good. When I was charging it
before I would occassionly check the battery status and when it was
at 6 then I would stop charging it, what you need to do is leave it
until it says 'charging complete' under the date and that it when you
will get the full power from it. As a medium user, its lasted almost
two days before it dropped a bar. Also if you haven't discovered it
already, please play with the Motomixer! It'll give you 6 tracks to
choose from. Once you have selected one it'll break it down into 4 instruments
eg, drums, bass, piano and strings and let you remix the track the way
you want. Obviously, its not a a vital feature on the phone but it's
a hell of a lot of fun! One last thing, I noticed that a lot of people
have talked about what memory they've got. Me and my boyfriend bought
our phones a week apart from O2 with one of their online tariffs. Both
of us got loads of extra bits anyway but O2 included a motorola music
pack with even more extras including a free 128mb memory card!! Not
sure how long they'll be doing that for so snap them up quickly!

I've had this phone a few days now and i think its amazing. The camera
quality is outstanding (even seems better than my 2 megapixel stand-alone
digital camera!). The video recorder is just as good...although when
you transfer videos to your pc, the quality isnt fantastic. The screen
is very high quality compared to other phones with its 262K colours
and high resolution. The best feature of this phone (probably what i
bought it for) is the massive memory you can add to it. It came with
an internal memory of 11MB and ive bought myself a 256MB transflash
card for putting my mp3s and videos on. The only problem i had with
this phone was working out how to transfer mp3 and videos to and from
it, the program that came with it was confusing to use but i got it
eventually. I've taken full advantage of the video player/memory capacity
and put a whole season of family guy on it - i'll never be bored on
the bus again :) If your transferring large files to your phone, i recommend
that y ou get a SD card reader rather than using the data cable because
file transfer speed with the data cable is terrible.

My partner has a mobile on the same network as me, and she has great

I had wanted a flip top phone for a couple of years but never found
something that really took my fancy. Well V635, come on down! Not only
is this phone stylish it packs in a lot of useful features. I've previously
been a nokia person so knew that switching to a different make would
mean it would take time to get used to the new layout, however, the
V635 was suprising quick to pick up. The user interface is straight
forward. The camera quality is outstanding with lots of options to make
your pics even better. The sound quality for calls is superb. The thing
that I really love though is that it gives you a lot of flexibility
to personal it so you really feel that it is unique to you rather than
part of a mass production! The only niggles I have about it is the manual
could be a little more detailed. Sometimes I found that it would tell
you how to do something but not actually explaining what it is in the
first place. On Bluetooth, it has the option 'find me' but no pairing,
so you would prob need the other device to find you rather then you
find it. Also, the battery could last a little longer but then I suppose
it is powering 2 high quality colour screens. I know that people have
had some problems with it crashing or bluetooth not working etc but
if your considering buying it go for it. Faulty phones are rare and
returnable. Its worth the risk of having to send one back because its
a fantastic phone.

Where to begin. I've had the phone about a month. Have used many different
phones. Am switching from a Pocket PC phone so that I can use the EDGE
with my bluetooth pda. The camera is awesome. Takes good pics and the
MP3 player is nice. I did a search for '256 trans flash'...got a good
deal on that..the MP3 ringtones only work from the phone's memory, and
not the transflash...cut 'em up and make 'em smaller then move them
to the phone's mem...a pain, granted, but you always answer it before
the whole thing plays anyway...keep them around 30 seconds tops and
you'll have about 256 K each...with only 6 megs or so to play with,
every bit counts..I have almost a dozen loaded up (close to 100 tunes
on the transflash though) and it boogers me up when I go to check my
email..always running out of memory on the phone..wish I knew how to
store the mails to transflash...haven't figgered that out yet...I had
to make a new gadget though...I took the stock stereo headphones, cut
off the ear pieces and spliced it into a regular female headphone jack...sweet....now
I can plug ANY headphones in to jam to my mp3s and also use my car adapters
(cassette and FM), or external speakers to more fully enjoy my music.....it's
not the perfect phone, but it is definitely a good one...it does a lot
and has a lot of expandability by way of java applets...the video recorder
does sound too...an added bonus and pretty unique for such a smally,
stylish phone...seen one that had the metal pieces chromed...very nice...hard
to find accessories in the states right now...found some in Canada and
UK so far though...

Supplied by Mobile.co.uk on Orange. Definatly the best phone I've ever
owned, the build quality is superb and though the menu system isn't
as easy as Nokia it takes less than a week to become competent with.
Besides that the camera is great (1.2 MegaPixels), nice selection of
features and quality settings. The flash is also one of the brighter
on the market. MP3 ringtones sound pretty good, the speaker doesn't
live up to my NEC616 but then 3 barred the phone from using mp3's as
ringtones anyway. My main grudge would be the side buttons which occasionaly
get pressed when in my pocket, though they don't end up making calls
the beeps annoying enough. Also Bluetooth discovery isn't always on
(you have to activate it then you get 60 seconds to be found) so don't
expect to receive random messages out at the pub. You can still find
others to send to mind! Looking forward to expanding the memory at some
point, already managed to fit an episode of Family Guy onto the 16mb
card by re-encoding to the screens resolution so lots of fun to be had!
All in all a great phone, mine was supplied with everything I could
need bar a bluetooth headset. Software works well on the PC and I'm
back on a real network (Orange) rather than Three! Similar Featured

I got my V635 last week from O2 online. I was initially a little frustrated
with the menu system, as I've upgraded from a Sony K700, which had a
comparatively user-friendly interface. Now I'm a few days into ownership
I can honestly say I'm impressed with the phone and the user interface
is very good. The camera is one of the best I've used on a mobile phone,
easily on par with the Sony S700 (My first choice for a phone, which
O2 have pulled from their range due to firmware issues). The MP3 player
is very good, though a little slow to initialise, very much like waiting
for windows media player to open in Windows XP. The supplied 32Mb card
is more than enough to get started with, in terms of media storage,
though I have found some 256Mb cards online which will make this phone
a very usable MP3 device too. Build quality appears to be excellent;
the aluminium casing should prove to be much sturdier than the all-plastic
case of the K700. I was surprised at the amount of kit that came supplied
with the phone - Stereo headset/hands free kit, software CD, PC sync
lead, bluetooth headset, memory card, split charging system (for charging
the phone and the bluetooth headset simultaneously) and a hefty manual.
I do however, have 3 (minor) complaints with the phone: - 1. No SMS
counter, which means I have to track my SMS usage online with O2. 2.
Read receipts don't work for sent text messages. 3. There's no FM radio!
Overall, this is an excellent phone, packed with decent features for
the medium to high user. As with all previous Motorolas, new users should
be careful with their chargers and phone charging ports as they have
a tendency to fail after 9 to 10 months of usage. They aren't particularly
robust, so exercise a little care and attention when charging your phone.
Also, for those of you ordering your phones online be aware that my
V635 has been supplied with a faulty external screen that doesn't work
unless the clamshell is squeezed tight. O2 have sent me a replacement
without question or delay, but be mindful that you may get a "Friday
afternoon" handset.

MULTIPLE PHONE BOOK ENTRIES Regarding the comments that multiple phone
book entries are NOT supported by this phone - yes they ARE! It just
happens that your contacts are 'expolded' by default. Phone Book > Settings
> Setup > View > Primary Contacts Now only your primary contact per
person is shown in the phonebook list. To see their other numbers, scroll
left or right. Job's a good 'un, as they say round here! Overall I am
very impressed with the improvements over my V600, which I loved. This
is one solid, well featured phone. Very happy with my free upgrade!
However, the Samsung D500 is a worthy contender and camera is considerably
better, both in quality and features (multi-shot anyone?!).

that this was the one for me, and boy was I right! Its a class phone,
the features are great the feel and build quality is excellent. One
thing I do like about the Motorola menu is that you can pin lock nearly
every aspect of the phone. The phonebook, text messages etc, basically
everything can be locked to keep out prying eyes. Well sorted if your
cheating on your woman like I am. One thing I would have liked to see
is an option to turn off who has sent the message as the senders name
shows upon opening. Only a small gripe though, on what is a fantastic
piece of kit. I was tempted to switch to another phone make when my

Got the phone for 2 weeks now and just wanted to give other people the
low-down: At the end of the day it is really a matter of taste so just
let me list the good and the bad points. First the good: solid construction,
even though the battery cover doesn't sit very tightly. The keys are
a joy to use, just feels nice. Good mega-pixel camera, have seen better
though (Sharp GX30i, SE S700i). Good sounding MP3 player, need to uprade
TransFlash memory card to 256MB to make good use of it though. Use MP3s
as ringtones AND message alert (unlike Samsung and SE phones). Good
reception quality, in fact this is the first Motorola phone I have had
to have no problems in this area. Wallpaper picture appears automatically
on outside screen as well. Transparent menus, you can see your wallpaper
through icons and navigation items. Now the BAD: I actually cannot believe
this, but there are NO time stamps on incoming, outgoing or missed calls
- it just lists the number or name and that's it! The hot key on the
side of the phone is programmed to start the camera when the phone is
closed and you CANNOT change this - pressing this button accidentally
is very annoying. The Java MP3 player application doesn't seem very
stable - you can create playlists in the Sounds menu though and play
your mp3 in there. The outer screen only lists missed calls and incoming
texts for a short period of time, then it reverts back to standby (showing
digital clock) you have to press the side key to check. Battery life
is not very good - 3-4 days with minimal use, 2-3 with medium and just
a bit longer than 1 day with heavy use. Very annoying bleeping that
you CANNOT switch off when battery is low. With all that said it is
very solid and stylish phone and definately one you want to be seen
with. Hope this short review is useful to anybody.

This is really the best phone I have ever had! It as all the features
you need eg. bluetooth, camera, 262k colour screen, an outer and an
inner screen, mp3 player, video and some good ringtones. I've had a
4k colour screen (siemens SL55), a 65k screen (ericsson T610) and now
I have this 262k screen and you can really notice the difference. The
pictures are really clear and the videos are good too. The bluetooth
works fine and the mp3 player is quite easy to use and great quality.
I received the headphones and USB cable with the phone, didn't have
to buy them separately. Got a really good deal with 02 on the net. I
couldn't be happier, its a fab phone and I wouldn't trade it in for

Superb phone! Upgraded from Sony Ericsson T610; of which I only miss
the multiple phone numbers in one phonebook entry (something that has
been mentioned here a few times)...although this doesn't detract greatly
from the overall features. I received shed-loads of extras with O2 contract
(headphones, bluetooth HS, USB Cable etc). Upgraded to 256MB Transflash
card which is proving very useful. Phone is robust, camera is excellent,
transflash expanding capability is great (and suprisingly cheap), mp3
player is very cool and by transferring songs to phone can use mp3's
as ringtones. Well happy, well done Motorola!

We've had this phone for less than a day, and we want to send it back.
It's difficult to set up, finding the option you want means going through
the most obscure menu system. The main buttons are great, but the function
buttons are poorly marked and very fiddly. The buttons on the outside
are far too sensitive - if you leave it in a bag, they are constantly
beeping as they get bumped. The quietest ring volume is still far too
loud. The look of the menus is the same as my Samsung D500, but the
way they work couldn't be more different. We haven't tried the camera
or actually making a call yet, but I don't think this phone will be

i thought until it started playing up the other day. It's doing the
freezing when you try and text someone trick which i believe some one
else has experienced here. I've taken mine back to the 02 shop and been
told its a software problem so its been sent away to be sorted. Pain

I have owned nothing but Motorola mobiles and having recently upgraded
from the V500 I consider the V635 to be the best phone in the market
place right now mainly because the amazing removale transflash memory
card provides so much flexibility for storing mp3's, mpegs, jpegs etc.
I have an amazing collection of CD's on my card already, the camera
and video functions are easy and good quality. The inclusion of the
mobile phonetools software, USB cable and earphones makes it truly good
value. All it is missing is an FM radio and a GPS option if you're reading
this Motorola? Minor niggles - phonebook separating individual numbers
instead of storing under one profile, minimum volume on MP3 player is
still too loud, when a call ends after interrupting an MP3 session there's
no automatic return to the music. None of them are serious issues and
I'm sure the next model will be even more sensational.

This is a really good phone, but i'm quite annoyed that unlike most
other phones today if you want this on Vodafone you have to buy headlphones
and the USB cable seperately adding at least £70 to the cost.
If you get a phone this good you wanna be able to use all the features
on it and so need these items. Considering loads of other networks give
these free as standard i'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow. Would
happily get the same phone again, just check 'what's in the box' before

Let's start with the good stuff. The V635 has an impressively robust
design - far better build quality than the fashionable V3 RAZR - and
even stronger features. The main screen is bright, large and has a good
resolution to support the 1.2MP zoom-enabled camera (which also has
a decent video capture mode). The user interface is well designed and
highly customisable, and the keys are sufficiently large to ensure that
using this phone is not an ordeal for those with big hands & fingers!
Looking a little deeper, we find a couple of decent pre-loaded games
- "Golf" is a 3D game in which you can earn points to upgrade your clubs
and balls for greater performance against a range of computer characters,
and "Top Gun" is a vertically-scrolling shoot-em-up which I found pretty
difficult to play on such a small games controller. Maybe I'm just getting
old. The predictive text seems to be pretty good for the messaging,
although I can't find any useful icons like I had on my Sony Ericsson
(e.g. smileys). One thing I do prefer about this phone is its volume
- much louder than my old T610 and not much chance of missing calls
now! Plus, the polyphony's pretty good. Unfortunately there are some
aspects I'm not so happy with. The phone book is poor and won't allow
storage of multiple numbers (e.g. home/mobile/work) under one profile
- you need separate entries for each number which seems silly. If you
place a call and get a busy tone, the "redial" button doesn't seem to
work - instead, you have to use three keys to hang up/access recent
calls/redial. Minor point maybe but sometimes it's a nuisance if you're
trying to get through for ages. The "received calls" menu is also disappointing
as there's no indication as to what time the call was received - just
the order in which they came in. Selecting one of the entries, I tried
hitting the button in the centre of the 4-way controller thinking that
this might give me further info - but it just deleted the entry instead!
Upon which I learned the lesson that this central button replicates
the functionality of the right-hand multi-function button, though it's
not always intuitive. The alarm clock is nice and loud and I like the
way you can set up multiple alarms, but one annoying element is that,
if the phone is off when the alarm time rolls around, the alarm will
sound but there's no way to set a snooze. So, if you're using it to
wake yourself in the morning, you might want to keep the phone on overnight,
which isn't necessarily ideal. For me, the jury's still out on this
one. It's a good-looking phone with a decent build and a generally sound
UI, and I've generally found the signal strengths to be good. Battery
life is OK but nothing special though I do think people bleat about
this a little too readily (it's called "plug it in overnight!" No great
hardship). But for all its plus points, the design flaws are irritating
at times. Time will tell which of this phone's two personalities will
win through...

Thanks to the user reviews on this excellent website, which helpfully
warned of problems with earlier versions, e.g the V500 series, I found
that the V635 was the one for me. By taking advantage of Carphone Warehouse's
Price Match (against the Orange Shop), trade-in and using Orange 120
tariff I paid a total of £10 up front for the V635 which I've
had for three weeks now. Seems to work well with my newly purchased
Parrot Driveblue Plug ~ Drive Bluetooth unit www.driveblue.com and it
paired instantly. As a Nokia user looking for bluetooth and clamshell
I consider it a natural sucessor to the Nokia 7650. Coming from a Nokia
background I was totally unaware of the use of the menukey in a multitude
of situations - it's rather like a Windows right mouse click - and until
it was pointed out I couldn't find certain basic functions. Readers
may be interested in the V635 discussion at http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1545430
One of the buttons on the outside is called the Smart key which I couldn't
find documenteted in the Orange manual except to call it the Smart key
in a diagram. It was causing me irritation whenever it was accidently
touched especially as I couldn't work out what it was trying to achieve
- Styles / Camera or what? Meanwhile I found activating the Bluetooth
link to the Parrot Driveblue device in the car from the phone a pain
as it required so many keystrokes each time. I've now discovered that
by using Personalisation of the Home screen I can set the Smart key
to be Bluetooth Link and made the operation a lot simpler thus I've
solved two problems in one go as accidently hitting the Smart key now
isn't a problem. I've also changed the intial setting for the right
soft key from Video to Camera and moved the Settings icon to the centre
(default) on the main menu. Mobile phone tools Works OK here with Windows
2000. From what I'd previously understood I wasn't expecting a CD-Rom
or USB cable with the 635 when I purchased it however it's all there
and yes the software is indeed disguised as 'advertising pish'. If your
disc says 'mobile phonetools V3.0' in an oval on the right just cancel
the flash presentation and you should find it. However don't expect
to be able to load the software into a directory of your choice. A couple
of other points: When importing from Outlook the address book splits
different phone numbers etc. into separate records. Also when doing
a Back-up Mobile phone tools puts a CSV file in the BVRP folder it created.
May I suggest that to make this review board even better users wait
and add something rather than post their opinions in the first couple
of days of owning the phone. Otherwise the 100 review cut-off prevents
long term experiences appearing.

but it works with win XP sp2 without any problems. This is all you need
to do: 1. install your software from CD but before enable on your phone:
settings - connection -USB settings - memory card. Than follow the instructions
of the application on your computer(should work). Btw. this is the only
way you can use your mp3 as ring tones. Sending pics and other stuff
is easy: settings - connection - bluetooth link - select - setup - power:

I have just bought a Motorola V635 on an Orange contract having had
a Nokia 6600 for about a year. Although I have enjoyed the 6600, I really
prefer a flip phone and wanted a 1MB camera. After a lot of research,
including reading reviews on this excellent website, and after trying
the phone in my local Orange shop, I decided to go for the V635. I've
had a V500 before so I knew what to expect and the V635 doesn't disappoint.
The build quality is excellent. It isn't the lightest of phones, but
a bit of weight makes it feel like a quality item and it's fitted together
really well and feels very solid. The external colour screen is great.
The metallic material used for the outer case feels good in the hand,
and all the detailing on the outside of the phone makes it look very
desirable. Flip it open and the layout of the keypad is superb, good
to look at and easy to use. The keys feel nice to use and have a positive
action. The internal screen is very bright and colourful, not the largest
of screens, but definately one of the best quality. The user interface
is typical Motorola. It may not be quite as straight forward as Nokia's,
but is simple to follow and use after a bit of practice. The UI has
been refined slightly from the one I used on the V500 and as a result
is better to use. The phone book in particular has received some welcome
attention and now has a name search facility. The 1MB camera and built-in
flash are excellent, as is the built-in video camera. The addition of
a Transflash memory card means there's plenty of space for storing photos,
video and sounds. Messaging works great, including MMS and email. The
other great thing with this phone is the RF. It gets a signal everywhere
and really holds onto calls well in areas where other phones cut out
(it's worth having that little stub antenna). Call and sound quality
from the earpiece and the loud speaker are about as good as it gets.
So if you want a good quality phone, that looks great, has all the latest
gadgets and gizmos (including bluetooth), and most importantly makes
clear sounding phone calls just about anywhere, then I highly recommend
the V635. I really believe it is the best 2G phone currently available,
and considering what it has to offer, can be bought for a reasonable
price on contract or sim free. I'm very happy with mine and I hope this
helps anyone else trying to decide whether to get one.

camrea. MP3 player and such like. All in all, i would reccomend this
phone to people, and having owned a Nokia before, i believe motorola
to be just as good.

If you are strugling with bluetooth got to the motorola website and
down load the manual for the bluetooth headset! It works but takes a
while to work out without it.

I've had this phone 2 days. It seems to be ok apart from the fact that
i cant get bluetooth to work. It has crashed on me once which isn't
a good sign. Overall its ok.

This is my first Motorola phone and I do like it, it is a good phone.
Call quality is excellent, the camera is very easy to use with a much
better picture quality than my last phone (Sony Ericsson K700i). I bought
the phone unlocked and very easily set up picture messaging, gprs and
email on the phone. It has many of the features you expect and comes
with the excellent mobile phone tools for PC synchronisation. There
are problems with the phone, Bluetooth doesn't work and the phone will
not store addresses like my old Nokia and Sony Ericsson. The way the
contacts are managed is not intuitive. There is one missing feature
which I find quite strange, the call log shows missed calls but doesn't
give a date and time for the missed call. The phones strengths are that
it does the basics of making calls, sending texts and picture messages,
browsing the web etc very well. The addition of expandable memory and
decent MP3 software is definite bonus.

Motorola V635 "handy hints"
Submitted by becca from USA on 13th May 2005
look, i just want to say where you ALL CAN SEE that there IS, i repeat
THERE IS a way to have multiple numbers or phonebook entries UNDER ONE
NAME. PRIMARY CONTACTS. find that in the settings, and then when you're
in the phone book, you just hit left or right to see the different numbers.
i have 3 different work numbers in my phone, ALL UNDER ONE NAME. it
doesn't say my company's name 3 times. only once. this is on all of
the v series phones. i am SICK of reading about people complaining about
this when it says in the manual how to change it!
