Miele WDA111 review
|Review: August 2015|
Last updated September 2015
In a nutshell: New for 2015, the Miele WDA111 is perhaps Miele's best ever machine, with an enhanced A+++ efficiency rating and quieter, smoother operation. Capable of washing a family-sized 7kg load, it's a heavy duty workhorse of a machine, designed to last 20 years. So, despite its high price, it should work out as a cost-effective buy. We don't usually award 5 star ratings to washing machines, but this comes ever so close!
Today's best buy: Miele WDA111 from Buywise Domestics (£699.99)
The WDA111 is the same as the WDA101 Miele washing machine, except that the WDA111 has a convenient sloping control panel. See our in-depth review of the Miele WDA101 for more details. The Miele WDA111 is quite probably the best value Miele washing machine you can buy.

Water in outer rim?
Asked by Diana

Had Miele WDA 111 installed yesterday and used x4, different cycles, but every cycle there is quite a puddle left in rim at door, on washer side. Never had a Miele before, and never had this with any washing machines before ( have had past LG and AEG). Is this normal?
WDA111 showing F10 fault?
Asked by Jannatu
on 22nd Jul 2016
I have a brand new (literally installed yesterday) Miele WDA111 and on using the cotton/minimum iron settings the F10 error comes on and check inlet shows red. This came on after i did several washing's on the 40 degree minimum iron setting. I switched it off and continued the washing on a delicate wash????. It seems after 2-3 continuous washing's this happens. The first time it happened I left it for a couple hours and then i was able to continue washing on 40oC minimum iron wash for towels etc. Can you give me an idea. This fault was happening on previous machine that's why purchased this one but i think the problem is the water coming into the machine.
My machine has the water plus option, and I just wondered if anyone knows how much extra water it adds?

Absolutely terrible machine. It has the dreaded "Eco" on the front meaning that it takes forever to do any wash. Our old Miele lasted almost 15 years and would wash shirts in 30 minutes. This contraption takes almost 2 and a half hours...beware!

Toatally agree, ridiculously long cotton programmes, even on "short". The only quick wash is 20 mins ( 3.5kgs.) Why not a 40 or 50 min wash??? Beko and Bosch can manage it so why not Miele?
