LG Optimus L5 review
|Review: November 2012|

In a nutshell: The LG Optimus L5 is a good value mid-range Android phone with a large screen and excellent battery life. The sluggish processor and low resolution display are the only downsides.
If we're giving the impression that this is a run of the mill phone, that's because it is. It's a rectangle that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and costs just under £100 on Pay as you Go. That's no bad thing, after all. Mostly this phone does just what you'd expect. It's quite slim for a mid-budget phone and has a good-sized 4 inch screen.
On the downside, the built-in memory is quite low at 2GB and the 800MHz processor feels underpowered, even for a mid-range device.

My phone was good for the first few months. But soon after, I had a problem with the SD card slot (i think)... When i had an SD card in there, it would occasionally say the SD card was removed & it would go through the whole process of re-reading the SD card & at times, the reading of the SD card would be stuck at 99%... during these times, I am not able to listen to my music or view my photos & such...
This was the main problem for me... (it was probably just my phone... but yea)

Bought the L5 last week, and am glad I did. The screen is big, and there are plenty of apps to download. The radio is far better than the one on the HTC Mozart I traded in. Camera is okay but not outstanding. You can also check how much data apps use if you are on a limited monthly allowance, like myself. The phone is great value for money, considering what you get, and I recommend it.
