Debenhams gadget insurance should be avoided at all costs!! Save your money people and even pay a little extra if you have to in order to insure with a reputable company with good customer service. My fairly standard Samsung 7 phone was with them for 4 weeks being repaired as apparently there was a shortage of parts. In the end just to get the phone back I accepted a silver part replacement when in fact my phone was gold when I gave it to them. Phone calls and emails are ignored for days on end and you really have to chase up every single detail. They require proof of purchase, proof of contract, proof of usage and a list of other things before they will even look at your claim. Then when you send these you wait another 48 hours when they eventually reply to deny receiving them. Honestly I cannot stress enough how bad their customer service is. They should be reported for false advertising as on their website they claim to replace a lost/broken phone in 24 hours!
